tried to run sfc /scannow but my SP3 was from an online update - I have SP2 on disk (it is request by the repair command) - Do I have to rollback to SP2 then update from microsoft???You don't need to rollback, just insert the XP CD with SP2 and let it run and fix the corrupt/damaged file found by the System File Checker. nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk
