Why is there a dlm extension on the end of the Windows 7RC file....it comes right after the iso extension. Should I rename the file? Compdoc2

The dlm extension means that the DownLoad Manager was not done, probably because it had not finished verifying the file.You can try renaming it; it might be ok.

Thanks for the info. I downloaded the file again and the file sizes were different, so I did not use the first one. Just for the record, the os installed nicely except it did not detect my ethernet card, video card, or the the sound card on my Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop. Looks like I have some work to do.
