dsq32.dll suddenly disappeared and I have no idea how to get it back - Please help?
Hey everyone. I hope I'm posting this to the right forum. If not, I apologize. I would be forever grateful if any of you can help me out with this problem. I'm running Windows 7 32 bit on an HP DV6000 laptop. My antivirus software is Webroot Antivirus with Spy Sweeper. I have all of my shields up and this morning I got an alert that a trojan had been quarantined. I then tried to install a new software application called Frameforge Studio 3 and the installation failed. An error message popped up stating that my dsq32.dll was nowhere to be found and that I needed it in order to install my software. I've read that sometimes this file can be deleted by accident by another program or a virus. I don't have a clue. Can anyone tell me how I can get this file back? I have searched all over the net for the file but it seems as if the only way I can get it fixed is by buying additional programs that will check my files and repair the bad ones. I assume this file is on my Windows 7 installation disk. Would I be able to use the disk to repair my files without erasing or damaging anything else currently on my laptop? Or is there someplace I can just download the file and reinstall it? Or am I just going to have break down and spend another $50.00 on one of these repair programs? I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks, Trin

Hi, I have also checked my Windows 7 32-bit computer and I could not find the dsq32.dll file. I suspect this is related to your third-party application. If it is a system file, we can use SFC command to fix this issue: How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7 Considering the error indicating the dsq32.dll is missing comes with the installation failure of Frameforge Studio 3, it is also recommended that you contact FrameForge 3D for help: FrameForge 3D Studio Community Thanks your understanding and cooperation. Hope it helps. Alex ZhaoPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
