No matter which browser I try, my downloads are always being interrupted. I got a new laptop and installed the latest norton for protection...that was the only different thing I did. I`d appreciate any insights thanks

When you say it is the only thing different you did do you mean you have another machine which you use which dosen't have this issue? IMO and i really shouldnt probe you away from using one vendors piece of software to another but im not a fan of norton at all in my past experience it was always too resource hungry and wanted to take control of far too much. caused more issues than it fixed. it may be different now as i havent used it for years... if i was you id uninstall norton (or wipe your machine and start again as if its anything what it used to be like, it will be hard to properly get rid of) and download microsoft security essentials. its what i advise most of my friends / family to do as for home security it is very efficient. and free! http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/products/security-essentials
