do not see my server in network section of windows explorer
My windows 7 PC is in a domain, but from windows explorer, the server is not listed as a node in the Network part of the tree. It was working a few months ago. How do I get the server to show up in the network section of windows explorer?
Very simple setup. One windows 2008 R2 server. One window 7 client. On the same LAN. Networking is working because I am connecting to the sql server database on the server. And the internet browser does not work unless the server is running. And I use remote
desktop from the client to login to the server But for some reason, the network section of windows explorer is blank on both the server and the windos 7 client.
thanks,

the solution was to reboot the windows 2008 R2 server. Is there a service or process on the server that could have been restarted to enable the client PC to see the server in the network section of windows explorer?
