dns server not responding
my new dell wireless printer v525w kicks me off the internet when the printer is powered on. my message is "DNS server not responding" power off the printer, internet comes back after rebooting my netgear router wndr3700v3. any help will be appreciated

It seems something in printer settings collide with computer settings, or the router has problems with assigning the IP. 1. Is there any difference in output from command ipconfig /all before and after you switch on printer? 2. What are network setting of your printer? 3. How is configured router (DHCP, DNS, ...) 4. It does not hurt to place your problem in community forum at dell and netgear. Regards Milos

Yep, think you might mis-configured the printer, you should do following checking: - Correct and unique IP address is configured on printer - Domain name assigned to printer can be resolved - Working DNS servers are configured on printer and also other PC - Able to ping printer from other PC Hope this helps.
