I can't run dism because it says that the c:\windows folder is invalid.

I'm linking the download to the dism.log file.

Are you running DISM from an elevated command prompt?  Have you tried running sfc /scannow?

Please run a system file check (SFC) & DISM if you are on win 8 or higher

yes. I tried running sfc /scannow. That fails also. The DISM is from an elevated command prompt.

What DISM command you run on your computer based you log file, the command you run was dism  /online /scanhealth /restorehealth. It is an invalid dism command on my test computer. Try

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

And

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /restoreHealth

See if same error occurs.
