dism
Awhile ago someone here told me to use dism to fix corrupt windows files reported by SFC /scannow. However I can't find the old message. Would someone please post the correct dism command line or point me to the original message. TIA

Hey,
I think the command you're looking for is this;
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Just make sure you run it in an elevated command prompt.
