I run (or try to) a disk defrag weekly; however, I am now getting the following error: disk defragmenter could not start. I am not able to analyze or defrag. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please perform following steps. Click on Start and then click on Run. Type SFC /scannow. (Please note that there is a space between SFC and /scannow) Click on Ok to launch System File Checker. Insert the Windows XP installation CD when and if it asks for. It will repair all the damaged and corrupted System files. I have xp home edition your suggestion asks for professional disk. What do I do now?

I am running xp home and cannot defrag even thoug I have over 50% free. Saya 'disk defragmenter could not start'.
