thank you for your reply...I would really like to restore my Outlook rather than adding it on, as it had data on it I need to recover...if I cannot, then your reply will be very helpful.

you can undo system changes by reverting your computer to a previous restore point > Use system Restore!This can be found by going to > Start > Programs> PC Help & Tools> System Restorejust pick one of the restore points that was before you started having problems, to do a roll back.
