Hi , iam new to the forum here , so hope to be welcomedwindows Data Execution Prevention makes alot of trouble to my applicationi searched too much for how to disable it completely found this ______________________________1. Click Start2. Click All Programs3. Click Accessories4. Right Click on Command Prompt5. Left click on Run as Administrator6. Click the Allow button if it asks you for permission7. Type or copy and paste this into the command prompt window: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff 8. Hit enter and you should see the confirmation: Operation Completed Successfully9. Reboot and DEP should be off._______________________________and when i done so the following error comes up[IMG]http://i41.tinypic.com/2lnwpaq.jpg[/IMG], also havetryed Add the application to DEP list 1. Click on Start, right-click on Computer, and then click on Properties. 2. On the Advanced system settings and then click on Advanced tab. 3. Click on Settings under Performance. 4. Click on Data Execution Prevention. 5. Click on Turn on DEP for all Programs and Services except those I select: 6. If you can see the program in the list, put a check mark on that if not click on 7. Otherwise, click on Add. Locate the path to the program's .exe file. 8. Click on Open. 9. Click on Apply. Click on OK twice. 10. Restart computer and test the issue again.but tells me " this program cant be run without DEP protection " , please help me i have tryed and searched all ove the internet to disable thisaddin to this that i fully understand the risk for disable itthnaks for your help, nour

What is the exact issue you occurred with? How did you focus that this issue was caused by Data Execution Prevention? Please tell me your detailed troubleshooting. 2. Did this issue occur with other applications? What is the application? Are you a developer of this application or just a user? 3. Did you receive any error message? It is much appreciated if you can provide a screenshot. Meanwhile, to troubleshoot DEP related issues, it is not recommended to disable DEP. Instead, it is highly recommended to make sure this application is a DEP compatible version and upgrade it to the latest version. Hello,I have a windows vista 64bit home premium, and a few days ago Programs started to close because DEP.My avast antivirus (that worked last week) ain't working now. Hitman Pc Game won't work.The interesting thing is that i have disabled DEP from CMD as administrator, and programs still won't work, I cant start my antivirus because it stops working.Please be so kind and help me if You are able to.Oh yes... I also downloaded Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool that scanned my computer and found0 infected files. + I scanned my computer with Nod32 from my dad's computer + I scanned it with kaspersky Online scanne,without success.I do not understand what is happening, I was hoping You could help.
