delete some files on c drive
I see some files in my windows 7 C:\drive , these files are named as a series of numbers like 21414dd2c4ada485de50,166ee2a7435b478d64b025697c04ec etc, I opened them, it looks like the hot fix or windows update for sql server. I do have two copies of developer edition of SQL server on my computer, it inclues a copy of sql server 2005, and SQL server 2008. I guess these files are for hot fixes of 2005, which I don't need to install the hot fixes. I tried to delete these files because they use a lot of space on my hard drive, but it doesn't allow me and gives error that I need system permission to delete those. How can I get rid of these files? Thanks SQLFriend
