de-prioritize VPN network connection
Hi,I have a computer on my local home network which I us to connect to some cusomers' networks via VPN.That VPN is on a subnet 192.168.20.x (255.255.255.0). My home network is 192.168.178.x.Everything works fine. However, the internet traffic (e.g. www.msn.comor mail traffic) starts going completely over that VPN channel once it is initiated. It should rather go to my router/carrier and not into the VPN channel. My first thought was to lower the priority of the "VPN pseudo NIC" in the network cards overview. But the VPN is not included in the advanced properties where you can prioritize the NICs.So how can I make my internet traffic travel over the nic/router and not go to the VPN channel?--George

How would this be done for Windows 7, please? I see no setting in the IPv4 Properties dialog that corresponds with "use IP default setting". I apologize for asking this in a Vista forum...
