dcom server process launcher
Over the past month I have had 3-4 blue screens. It scrolls by too fas to see the info, but the event viewer shows several DCOM 10005 red errors. Is there some way I can repair or fix this without reformatting my entire system? I've also had a couple of system errors 7024; a 1003 service control manager error; and a 7011 scm error - all red.One additional thing - I have already gone to the Admin tools - services - dcom and made sure it is set to automatic.

Hi, Please understand that Microsoft provides different support services which have different service levels and support boundaries. For blue screen crash related issues, it is necessary to debug the related crash dump to locate the root cause. Also, in most cases, it is necessary to check the source codes as well. Unfortunately, debugging is out of our forums support boundary. I'd like to recommend that you contact Microsoft Customer Support Service (CSS) for assistance, the support professionals there are better qualified to assist you. To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request, please take a look at the website listed below: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;PHONENUMBERS Before that, you could perform the following steps to troubleshoot the issue: 1. Use the System File Checker tool to check the system files (sfc /scannow): Some Windows Vista functions may not work, or Windows Vista may stop responding http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 2. Perform a clean boot in Windows Vista: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 Hope it helps.

I had already run system check with correction several times. I also uninstalled Office 2007 and reinstalled it. Now in addition to Outlook error messages on the Event Viewer I have a crypt 32 error. Can any of this be corrected without reinstalling XP?
