create undeleteable folder?
is it possible to create an un-deletable folder? i often have students deleting folders by mistake, and was wondering if there's any 'archive bit' or similar to protect a folder itself (NOT the files within it!) making it non-deletable, or at least ask for confirmation? leslie

Please follow the steps below. 1. In the Properties of the folder, click the Security tab. Then click the Advanced button. 2. Click the button Change Permissions. 3. Select the user account you would like to set permission for. You can configure if the settings are applied to sub folders or not. Then click Edit. 4. Uncheck the Allow checks for Delete, you may also select "Delete subfolder and files". Check the boxes of Deny. Arthur Xie - MSFT
