corrupted Win7 RC disk - have key - need to reinstall
I downloaded Win7 RC to my desktop, then burned a disk to use on another machine. The disk loaded correctly the first time, but the hard drive crashed and I when I tried to load it on the new blank hard drive, I get error 0x80070570 during the expanding file phase indicating files were missing or corrupted. Found a thread about that suggesting to burn new disk or use a thumb drive. Unfortunately, I had deleted the download from my desktop and from the thumb drive shortly before. Now I have a key but can't download the RC any longer. I don't have the cash just yet to purchase and don't have another OS to put on the machine. Is there a possibility of getting RC again since I already have a key for it. Just asking. Won't hold my breath, but I see my only alternative is to buy a discounted Vista from Craigslist or someplace just so I can get going again.

Windows 7 Enterprise 90-day trial version here:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/cc442495.aspx?ITPID=sprblogThat should get you working until you can obtain a legit OS for use with the machine. The RC is no longer legitimately available for download. The version linked here is the final build, and the feature set is identical to Windows 7 Ultimate.

No longer valid. Problem due to bad RAM.
