I am using windows 8.1 operating system.

When I attempt to use Copy and Paste or to drag to move a file in My Computer or Pendrives, the task  fails but no error message appears to explain and also no response why? I am not able to copy any movie or folder to pendrive or to to a drive in my computer and desktop too. could anyone tell the solution for this.

Hi,

When did this issue happen? Sometimes, a 3 rd party program like a anti-virus spftware can make prevent the copt\paste function, if you have these kind of software installed recently, I would suggest you temporarily disable\uninstall them as a test.

Meanwhile, what about hotkeys, ctrl-c\ctrl-v? are you able to copy and paste a sentence inside a file?

I just fixed my issue be un-installing KB3057839. If you can't un-install it. login as administrator. Problem should be fixed.
