connection usage 100%!!
when i download a file using any download manager..i have some problem..if i just add a file and it downloads at 100% of my conn speed ..im happpy with it..if i just stop the downlad..by connection still used 100%..bitdefender firewall doesnt show any applications..if i resume the download again..it just downloads exactly half the speed..tht is,there is the another file downloading in parallel..thats invisible..i had same problem with other computer..it just came back to normal after some days..i don know how it happened..maybe i installed something..can someone help me?? should i need to install anything specific to avoid this..i use windows xp(reinstalled fresh original copy and installed some common softwares, its working fine before that)...i had same problem in windows7(automatically fixed,it was in other pc)...this is really odd.. My Ip have unlimited usage, and hence i don't suffer serious problems,if i disconnect the connection and connect it again, everything is fine..There is bug in my PC,and not on my download manager or router, and i have a desktop and laptop connected to the router, and my laptop is working fine till i did a format to my hard disk.i have installed my original Media center XP edition, which is 4 yrs old from now..and updated all the files from microsoft which is around 400-600MB..The download program i have tried are Download accelerator plus, internet download manager, flashget.I have been using this computer for 3 yrs without any problem..I have tried some 4 firewalls to block(of course if i allow download manager, its not gonna block),i checked for the internet activity, until i stop, the firewall shows my internet activity, and when i stop the download,i doesn't shows what internet activity is use my connection.but the firewall shows my connection is used 100%,same from Bandwidth monitor pro,and windows task manager..the firewalls i used are bitdefender, zone alarm, and sunbelt personal firewall..And finally i used "network sniffer",and downloaded with internet download manager and looked for the statistics,it connects to remote servers and packets are transferred with different connections..when i stop the download with download manager, jut one or two connections are stopped and the remaining doesn't stop and the packets are continuously transferred.when i turn off and on back my network switch, everything is normal until i start downloading and stopping it..Downloads via browser is normal,as i think because it establishes only one connection to the server.1 person needs an answerI do too
