i have laptop having operating system windows vista home premium & i facing problem that i can connect other laptop via cable or wirelessly but cant share the data. it gives us error that " windows can not access <computername>\<shared drive>". if any have idea about this please mail me at jitendra_sangai2007@yahoo.com

Hi, Thank you for posting. Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following: 1. Please check if you can ping other computers from one computer by IP Address or computer name. 2. Ensure that the computers are in the same subnet, same workgroup and that File and printer sharing is enabled. 3. You can also disable the shares and re-enable them to see how it works.
