What is the USB wirless adapter, be specific as to the OEM and model name/number. Instead of running it in XP mode why not just install the adapter under XP compatibility mode? http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprohardware/thread/80cae5ee-dc98-4a2f-8284-a1ab826059b7 You may configure Internet Connection Sharing in XP Mode. You may refer How to configure Internet Connection Sharing in Windows XP In XP Mode, you may enable two virtual network adapters. One for Internet connection and share it. The other for the connection between Windows 7 and XP Mode. Set the IP address for the one for Windows 7 connection to 192.168.0.1. In Windows 7, set the IP address to 192.168.0.2. Set its Default Gateway to 192.168.0.1. MCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message. Hi,Cdobbs is correct. You need install the Wireless adapter driver on the Windows 7 machine first and then compare the device in XP Mode. If there is no driver for Windows 7, please install the driver for Windows Vista 64 bit or Windows XP 64 bit instead for a test. Thanks,Novak

I just viewed the drivers details for that unit, its made for Windows XP & XP 64bit (and backward compatible to Windows 98/98SE) back in 2002. My advice is to get another unit, you will just continue to have problems with this one.
