Hi,Based on my research, I found that the latest driver is only for Windows Vista and Windows XP. There is no specific driver for Windows 7. If the current NIC driver is fine, we need not upgrade it to the latest one. Meanwhile, please understand that Windows 7 is a new operating system and whole driverstore has been reprogrammed; you might wait for another period of time till the retail version is released and push the vendor company to upgrade their device driver for Windows 7. Thanks for your time and understanding! However, if the current one is incompatible with Windows 7, you can download the latest one for a test. For your reference, I have enclosed the direct download link below:GiGabyte NIC driver Please Note: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support. Hi leslie,Funny you should ask that. I am running W7 x64 on a GB x58 UD4P. Several weeks ago I unwisely allowed update to replace my lan driver (the one that was shipped on the CD with the MB) with the version that you seem to be running quite happily (7.2.1127.2008). As soon as it did, my network was destroyed, and I had to roll back to the original driver. I then went to the GB site and downloaded 7.5.730.209 (which was listed as a W7 x64 driver) and I've been running with it ever since, no problems of any sort. I reported my problems in this posthttp://windows7forums.com/windows-7-support/18705-warning-windows-update-screwed-my-network.htmlGood luck, Roger

thanks novak, roger, all very confusing - probably right in as much as it's a new os so drivers will 'trickle' through - but i would have thought gb would have tested there's prior to release? meanwhile i'm still running on m$'s 7.2.1127.2008 driver. anyway, am running rc, rtm is on order so i'll try 7.5.730.209 with that to start with.... thanks leslie
