computer will not boot at all after installing Microsoft updates
Yesterday, I downloaded Microsoft updates to my computer (XP, Intel processor, manufacturer is ZT computers). I think there were three items - IE 7 updates, general XP update, an update I'd been ignoring for a while (something about too many requests with a well known file type or something), and I might have also selected the malicious software tool - I don't remember for sure. I used the computer for several more hours, getting continuous notices that I had to reboot to complete the update. When I was done with what I had to do, I turned the computer off. This morning, when I turned it on, it will not boot AT ALL. It gets to the ZT intro screen and stops. I have tried F3, F8, and F12 (after putting the recovery disk in the DVD drive), nothing works. It appears to recognize the keyboard input (I get different instructions as to what keys to use), but it won't respond to those keys and won't go to DVD or SafeBoot. 2 people need an answerI do too

Thank you. I have no idea what the KB number was, but maybe they can figure it out from the half-remembered description I have.
