computer may have been hacked. I have 2 profiles same name and one is Status=Backup
I attempted to use the following:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555473 The problem is, when I browse for the profile I want to copy, there are 2 profiles with the same name. One has the following:Size=24MB Type=Local Status=Backup Modified=1/17 (several days ago)The other reads:Size=4MB Type=Local Status=Temp Modified=1/20 (today's date) When I created a new Admin profile and tried to copy the LARGER (24MB) profile to the new Admin profile, I get a copy error... something to do with cyclical redundancy. While I'd hate to lose the files on my machine, if I have to I will eradicate the disk and install everything again... though I'd prefer to be able to get the larger profile out of backup status so I can get everything back. HELP?
