You'll need an older version of Office.

Felix de jesus gonzales, Regarding the media you are attempting to install 2007 office from, on the top of the disc, above Microsoft Genuine, does it say "upgrade?" If so, you it requires a previous version (I.E 2003 or Basic 2007) with a FULL install disc in order to be installed on any operating system (7RC or otherwise). Its great that you have used the compatibility feature however once the full install disc of 2007 Office is loaded, 2007 IS compatible with Windows 7RC. I encourage you to check out Microsft Springboard for more information, resources and tips and tricks in regards to what is new in Windows 7RC. http://tinyurl.com/832nco JessicaMicrosoft TechNet / Springboard
