command for selection classic start menu in windows 7
Hello everyone,Is there any command or registry key settings available to select "classic start menu" or "start menu". I have to selectclassic start menubecause want to display my computer icon in the desktop.Thanks in advance.

Rajesh - All you need to do is right-click on the Computer icon in the start menu and select "Show On Desktop" - and you've got your icon. For the record, the "classic" start menu is gone in Windows 7. There are ways of emulating it - and you can Google for it. But it's not really necessary to go there if all you want is the "Computer" (formerly "My Computer" icon on the desktop.

Are you looking for the my computer icon, network Icon and such? If so just neet to right click on desktop click personalize and change desktop icons same as you do in Vista. Tim Comes
