Yes I'am running MS essentials, new scan did pick up a trojan but didn't remove it from the startup menu. It still might be associated with it so I'll check with MS essential support Thanks for your time

Welcome, contact support would be base option. In mean time you could run full scan in safemode ,restart your PC and press F8 key repeatedly and chose safemode and run full system scan with MSE.
