changing file permissions in W 7 possible?
Have to use the bcdedit /enum command, but get the access denied stoppage! Right clicked on the bcdedit.exe file, opened properties/security to adjust permission to allow the administrator (me) to execute the /enum so I can delete one of the windows 7 selctors at bootup, the one left over from the w 7 beta, but discovered I'm not able to tick or untick any of the boxes because they're all greyed out! Is it the end of the line or is there a way for the administrator to execute the bcdedit.exe?

ClarenceE:To run bcdedit through the command prompt, you must run command prompt as administrator. To do this, search for 'command prompt' in the Start menu, and right click 'Command Prompt" in the results. Select "Run as administrator".You should now be able to use bcdedit without access denied error messages.-Nick
