Try doing the following, log on to a computer as the administrator to reset a password, try the following steps. 1)Log on as an administrator. Restart the computer.Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE two times, and then type the name of the administrator user account. In the Password box, type the administrator password, and then click OK. Note If the administrator password is set to a blank password, do not type a password before you click OK. Reset the password. Click Start, and then click Run.Type control userpasswords2, and then click OK.On the Users tab, click the name of the user account that you want to reset the password for, and then click Reset Password.Type a new password in the New password box, and then type the password again in the Confirm new password box, and then click OK.Restart the computer, and then try to log on to Windows XP again. 2)If still no go, alternatively try the following: You can start your computer in safe mode and get passed the sign in then delete the account who lost there password, but it depends who has administrative permission.restart your computer push F8 until it askes you how you want to start windowsstart up in safe modeshould give you the option to use administration account or parents account... click adminonce the desktop loadsStart/settings/control panel/user accountsthen you can delete the old account and start a new oneor you could just open a new account so you can use the computerwhich ever way you choose make sure you give your self administrative options

Hi Mbking22, If you mean that the Internet account and password are lost, you’d better contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for them. Regards,Arthur Li - MSFT
