I am no computer wizz so don't confuse me I have just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 32 b and i can't get my eos canon 300d to download Is there a driver download ?

What is the exact symptom when you trying to download it, any error message?I noticed this cameral is a little out-dated and only have drivers for windows XP. I suggest download the driver and install it in compatible mode.1. Right-click the exe. file and choose Properties.2. Under the Compatibility tab, please check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose "Windows XP (SP3)".3. Check the box before “Run this program as an Administrator” below.4. Click OK to save the settings.5. Follow the instruction to install the driver, and test.

From the website we can see that Canon only provides driver for Windows XP. If the driver does not work in Windows 7, you may need to wait for Canon to release Windows 7 compatible drivers.
