I can use mmc and add the snap-in for "certificates" and view a Windows XP or Windows 2003 computer from my Vista box. When I try to access the certificate store the same way on a Vista or 2008 box I get "The certificate stores could not be enumerated. The network path was not found." I know it's not a network issue because I can load the "computer management" snap-in and use it on this same computer with no issue. So, I'm thinking the certificate store requires extra privileges or perhaps there's a place where I have to explicity grant the ability to access the certificate stores remotely. Any ideas?? Thanks!
