cannot start the netlogon service.
I have 2 computers. On one computer I have installed xp,vista and win 7 on seperate partitions. In all Operating systems the computer is named the same. On 2nd computer I have installed win server 2003.The 2 computers are connected to the domain. The TCP/IP configurations are set manually on client as well as server OS.The IP for (client) xp, vista,win7 is set as 192.168.10.2 while for server it is 192.168.10.1. I have DSL internet connection. Since I have only one NIC,I have to disconnect the cable from the server and connect it to the modem whenever I want to start the net.The IP configurations for the net are dynamic. My problem is that I can ping the server from the client (win 7) but in network and sharing center it's not showing the domain name and treat it as 'unidentified network' when 2 computers are connected to each other. My other problem is that in vista I cannot start the 'netlogon' service so I cannot connect to the domain.
