When access my documents folder from another win7 computer over the network i do not see the same files and folders on the source laptop . trying to access my doc folder from another pc over the network. both computers are running win7. I have set share and permission on source computer still cannot see same files and folders on source from far compter. I am an administrator and i am logging onto the far computer as and administrator then attempting to access folder C:\Users\randyd\My Documents\. when arrive don't see same files and folders see when access same folder from my source computer. Can anyone help me out!

Hi, As my understanding, when you accessed shared folders, you could not see all files in this folder, if I misunderstanding your words, please do not hesitate to let me know. Does this issue occur to other shared folders? If the file could not be seen, how about accessing it directly with UNC (\\computername\folder...\file). Currently, I suggest you check the following settings: 1. Share and NTFS permission Please check if you have granted the users with the different Share and NTFS permissions on these share folders and files.
