I have recently bought a dell computer and the dell window vista softrware and I would like to replace the XPprogram on my other computer, which is a Compaq desktop. Can this be done? rt

You mentioned that you bought the Dell & the Dell came pre-installed with Windows Vista, correct? And you also need to de-active the Dell Windows Vista before installing it on the desktop.
