I can't figure out how to turn on the internet protection mode on. It says that I turned it off and I don't know what I did to turn it off Is there any advise?? Thanks Larry

Protected mode in Internet Explorer goes hand in hand with UAC. Make sure that you activate UAC (User Account Control) by searching for "uac" in the search menu and you will probably have Procted mode activated in Internet Explorer.

When the User account control settings box appears, move the slider to Default – Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer. 3.
