at start up, after logging in, I always get a message that the system file 'killvirus.vbs' cannot be found. I am using AVG freeware as my security software. Do I need to fix this and, if so, how? Regards Justin1 person needs an answerI do too

Do you have a USB drive connected to your computer? If yes, it is infected. The killvirus.vbs is usually found on USB thumb drives. The thumb drive(s) should be formatted to be safe. http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/12/15/prevent-viruses-from-infecting-the-usb-flash-drive-or-pen-drive/ If you know that you removed the infection and your computer is clean (and scanning only with AVG is inadequate, see the link below), then manage your Startup to remove the reference. http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware Start>Run>msconfig [enter] This brings up the System Configuration Utility. Look on the Startup tab and find the probable culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, Apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but the next time you do you'll get a dialog saying you've used the Utility. Just tick the box that says in effect, "don't bother me about this again".
