can't connect to network or internet
I have a Asus motherboard with a Marvell Yukon NIC. I installed 7000 32 bit with no problems, it detected the network and connected. I decided to install the 64 bit with a clean install. Now I have no internet connection and I says It found an unidentied network with local access only. I have tried every setting I can think of with no real success. When I run network diagnostics it reports "network adapter does not have a valid ip address" can anyone help? Both versions are build 7000.

It can be the driver issue. I suggest that you download the latest driver for 64bit systems from the device manufacturers website. The latest driver can be for Windows Vista. If it does not help, we may not be able to use that device in Windows 7 beta 64bit system. You may use the onboard wired network adapter instead. The driver can be downloaded from ASUS website.Arthur Xie - MSFT

Open a command prompt. I find the easiest way is Start>Run, type cmd (enter). In the command prompt window type: ipconfig /all.Then, try: ipconfig /renew.You can also try: ipconfig /flushdns, and ipconfig /registerdns.Report back the results, and maybe we can help you.
