can't connect to internet after setting up home network
I recentlly set up a wireless connection to a laptop and had a desktop both being able to connect to the internet just fine. After setting up a home network I am unable to connect the desktop to the internet. The IP Address was set to assign automatically but it assigns an invalid IP address (determined by typing ipconfig). If I change connection setting to the specific IP address of my modem and ping it the request times out. The laptop wireless connection works fine. I cannot figure out how to troubleshoot the problem on the desktop?1 person needs an answerI do too
