bsdiff.exe (process)
task manager SYSTEM process "bsdiff.exe" what is it and how do I stop it? It runs 15-20 times a day for 15-20 minutes at a time, using 20-50% of CPU memory-it is ruining my workday.I have tried to reset affinity and priority, (and even end process) but the system won't let me-HELP!I am the system admin.1 person needs an answerI do too

option 1 click on start > run > msconfig then under the startup tab look at the entries listed and see if you can identify one of them by that process. if you do, then you can disable it by checking its box then apply then rebooting. also, see if there is more info on the line that identifies what its parent program is and you can determine its worthiness for you and your system. option 2 execute a search for that process and see where its parent folder is. again, once you can identify the program, you can determine its worthiness and maybe reconfigure it if you need that program. if you dont need the program, then try to uninstall it or at least delete that particular file from the folder. if it wont let you delete it, then do it via safe mode. -- db`...><)))> ."bnkd007" wrote in message news:61258046-1a3c-4a31-aaeb-1d4885162c03...task manager SYSTEM process "bsdiff.exe" what is it and how do I stop it?
