bad length error windows store

how to fix that bad length error it getting it since i've roll back to windows 8.1 from windows 10 build 10041.

after refreshing still have the bad length error.. i'm using local account t login into windows so the solution of disconnecting from microsoft account would not work for me. help me please it is so irritating..

Please run a system file check (SFC) & DISM if you are on win 8 or higher

Hello,

Since you're getting this error for local account, try to switch to Microsoft account and see if it resolves.

tried the same to connect to microsoft account but it shows cannot switch you to microsoft account right now :(

sfc 100% complete with messae "windows can't find any violated integration".. still same error. :(

Hi,

Do you mean that the error shows up when you want to access Windows Store? Please run the wsreset.exe to clear the Windows Store cache and check if it can make any difference.

Or run the following troubleshooter

 Apps troubleshooter

Check for update and make sure the system is patched with latest Windows updates.

I also recommend you test this issue with another user account or create a new user account to check the result.

yes exactly can't login in to windows store.. did wereset but nothing happened still same error.. will try app diagnose and let you know.. thanks

windows store cache may be damaged - not fixed (X)

Please re-register the Windows Store app as the guide mentioned in the link below

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.XML
