I want to backup my files to an external hardrive. Im using xp. I cant find any info regarding how to place backup files back on my computer. Why Im asking is that my computer got a virus and bestbuy is charging me $200 dollars to fixed problem. Im going to have them back up my data. IM going to Recovery the hardrive and reinstall all my backup files.That is why im asking for future info. Another question is i can i make my own recovery discs for the future. new laptop are not give recovery disc. Just in case a virus hits me
