Since installing windows 7 my microsoft flight simulator X freezes after an indefinite period (anything from 10 minutes to about an hour) Message appears:- The program fsx.exe version 10.0.61472.0 stopped interacting with windows and was closed. Then a process ID 1068 and event ID 1002 Then a suggestion that I check for more info in action centre control panel which I cannot find. This problem always occurs when I run FSX Any suggestions please before I reinstall FSX which is an enormous task because I have many add ons. Mike

The action center is sitting on top of the list in your control panel (or hit the banner in the quicklaunch area). MFSX, which dates from 2006 if my memory serves me well, seems to have problems with Win7 (in sharp contrast with Microsoft Train Simulator, which dates from 2001 but runs like a...errm... train). Just see to it that you have the most stable drivers (not necessarily the latest) for your GPU. Check a few fora to see if there's a patch available for the MFSX to make it run properly on Win7... When a program crashes, usually you get an option in the pop-up screen, to let Win7 check for a solution to the error. I had crashes a-plenty running the "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" game. After umpteen crashes, Win7 finally found a patch and after that, the game worked fine...
