all experession studio softwares (including blend) don't work when connecting through Remote DesktopLooks like its the gray body of those apps. that don't show up. i see the button for blend in the task bar and i see the top blue strip of the application window but i don't see the application it self. I can look in the task manager and see that the blend process is taken up 25% of the resources. However, i don't have any problem running any of the expression studio software (including blend) on the host machine it self. The problem is only when using remote desktop from a client machine.Just wanted to add i am enforcing Network Level authentication (NLA)on the host. and I get the same result connecting from a Vista 32 home premium box as well as xp 32 profession with sp3 (NLA enabled) box.P.S. all other apps work just fine.

Have you changed the setting? Under the Remote Desktop client computer, after launching Remote Desktop, click options to expand. Then click the Local Resources tab, click Settings under Remote audio. Choose Play on remote computer. Then connect to the host computer from this computer via Remote Desktop.Arthur Xie - MSFT

Yes, it's some thing special with my computer hardware. I tested the same scenario at work and it work. So i got back home reinstall the whole os over again and it still doesn't work. I have Win7VM running in that host machine and when i remote in to that machine it also work. It's just the host machine on which it doesn't work. I has to be some silly hardware configuration. I am running GeforceGTX 275 and Geforce 8600 as a dedicated physicx processorThe Code Man
