after windows 8.1 install usb ports wont work
I have a asus p8z77-v lk mother board. after i installed windows 8.1 i noticed my key board and mouse were inop. i moved them to different usb ports and they now work. i have 4 usb 3.0 ports on back and none of them work. ive tried updating drivers, no change. ive tried using action center and following it step by step to repair, no change. ive uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and still no change. Does anyone have any advice on how to repair this concern? I hate knowing that i have 4 usb ports that were working perfectly fine before the update and now i cant use them. Also if i cannot resolve to concern, how do i go back to plain old windows 8 haha

thanks for the advise. unfortunately none of it helped. the usb ports started working properly for awhile and then i noticed in control panel the mouse would not line up. i could not select anything with the coursori needed to use the tab and arrow buttons. so i restarted the pc, and then again the 3.0ports werent working. still arent. seems to be the only problem im having at this time.
