im trying to give myself access to edit the files in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\test on my local machine, but putting myself in the administrators group doesn't seem to do a thing. i tried turning off ISS and Avast anti virus and that didn't work. Is my Windows broken? Any ideas?

im trying to give myself access to edit the files in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\test on my local machine, but putting myself in the administrators group doesn't seem to do a thing. i tried turning off ISS and Avast anti virus and that didn't work. Is my Windows broken? Any ideas? Open a Command Prompt and write this command: cacls C:\inetpub\wwwroot\test Send us the result please. This is for check the access control list of that folder.
