administrator account
hello i have lost my adminstrator account it is not my password it is the account. it will not let me do nothing can anyone help?thanks.1 person needs an answerI do too

You've left out all the relevant details. I'm going to give you my best Crystal Ball(tm) guess but if I'm incorrect then you will need to post back with a better description of what you mean. You cannot delete the built-in Administrator account. What often happens is that if you have XP Pro or Media Center Edition when you first get the machine you start using the built-in Administrator account for your daily work. This is not ideal, but is common. Then you create a second administrative user account and the built-in Administrator icon on the Welcome Screen is now hidden. This is by design. Your account has not disappeared and you can restore it to the Welcome Screen as follows: Enable Administrator account on Welcome Screen - http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_admin_ok.htm In this particular case you should keep the extra administrative account so as to not have only one administrator on the system.
