add to the autoplay options ?
Hi In autoplay options, I have about 5 or 6 programs to choose from, is it possible to add to this list? I would really like to, whenever I insert at DVD a bat file would be started.

You don't need to add to your autoplay list, you just need to create an autorun.inf file that points to your batch file like thisThe following is an example of a simple Autorun.inf file. It specifies Filename.exe as the startup application. The second icon represents the CD-ROM drive instead of the standard drive icon. [autorun] open=Filename.exe icon=Filename.ico Any text editor can create this, and it doesn't have to be an exe file to run it, your batch file will do. The batch doesn't point to a drive (unless you're copying the contents to a drive. You may need to edit the batch file and also if you're wanting to just open a document then you'd need the command shellexecute. For examples see http://www.wizbit.net/business_card_cd_creating_autorun_file.htm but I recommend not getting autorun creators from untrusted websites. Like I said, these autorun.inf's are easily created and no outside program is required. Well, the reason I want to do this, is I want to be able to rip dvd movies without having to start it manually. I want to insert at DVD and then it shall start a rip by itself. If I should do a autorun file, I would have to first burn a new copy of every DVD I will ever insert with a autorun file on it. .. I guess that would make the entire idea totally useless. Or am I misunderstanding something ? Dosn't a autorun file require to be on the particular media ?
