hi folksmy install went smoothly butupon running Win7, i encountered several freezes, no BSOD just stop dead lock up.i had to re-install drivers for my e-mu 0404usb audio interface as well as the synaptic touchpad.things seem more stable now and generally, i like the performance compared to old Vista.however, whenever i attempt to activate,i'm getting the error 0x8004FC13, facility code 4 means ITF.what the heck is that?any ideas what's causing this?by the way, i did not fill in the product key at the time of the install.

0k....You didnn't write product key during installation but you need to insert product key to activate Windows 7.- Ramesh Kumar

yes, of course, you need the key in order to activate.my problem was due to the proxy server;when it was bypassed, activation was successful.i only wish the error code was more meaningful.even windows did not know its description.in any case,as many have remarked,windows 7 is running fine and what vista should have beenin the first place.
