I installed windows 7 in dual with Vista on different hard drives, the installation went well but I can't activate windows 7, I always receive the message "this is not a windows 7 key". I use the key I received with the download, I also tried 2 other keys by redownloading windows 7, but allways the same problem I can't activate windows 7 What can I do?

try a Longhorn Beta key ... they worked for me when the W7 key didn't.Allan

Revisit the Microsoft web site where your Windows 7 product key is displayed. Then copy and paste it in the product activation screen. This can be launched by typing in activate in the Search progams and files box which appears after clicking on the blue Windows 7 start button. The Activate Windows icon will appear at the top of the Start Menu.Carey Frisch
