My hotmail account was blocked, and the email address on file to receive the re set code has been inactive for years, i was unable to find a solution with the option offered (huge do loop) so i set up a new account to ask for help. Anyone know what
i should do?

How do you login hotmail? Outlook or browser? Do you mean that you have forgot the password or the account has been disabled?
I think you should login on browser, and get the account back. When you want to login, you can press forget password and get the account back via other Alternate email address.Ivan-Liu
