access Exchange 5.5 Exchange server in NT domain with Windows 7
Is there any way I can have folks with Windows 7 connect to an Exchange 5.5 server in a Windows NT 4 domain without logging into the domain as it seems that Windows 7 can't log in to an NT4 domain?

Hi, We know Windows 7 cannot join Windows NT 4.0 domain. Windows NT 4.0 domain join is not supported with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 To connect to Exchange 5.5 server in the Windows NT 4.0 domain, I think you can try the following: 1. If your Windows 7 is Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate Edition, you can add the Windows XP Mode to the Windows NT 4.0 domain and connect to Exchange 5.5 server. To get Windows XP Mode, please go to: Download Windows XP Mode 2. Use Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access. Since this question is related to Microsoft Exchange Server, it is also recommended that you go to Microsoft Exchange Server Forum for help: Microsoft Exchange Server Forum Hope this helps. Thanks. Thanks for the tips - I will test out. One other way I can think of accomplishing this is to have a one-way trust from the NT side to a server running Windows 2008 R2 for example. So people who were logging into the Windows 2008 R2 server would have permissions for the NT server/domain but not the other way around. What are your thoughts on that approach?
